Fashion Parades         Supported by

With the ‘Country Energy Mudgee Small Farm Field Days’ fast approaching a virtual squadron of models, hair & make-up artists are preparing for the ever popular Fashion Parades.

Local girl Alyce Perring is co-ordinating the troops for this year’s Fashion Parade and has completed the photo shoot for the annual promotional poster with local photographer Angus Armstrong.

AREC General Manager Steve Garland explains there is more to the parades than just showing clothes at their best. “The Fashion Parade is a tremendous exercise in youth development, we see individuals that take on responsibility for the preparations, programming and creative aspects of the parades. There is a great deal of discipline to meet the schedules that are set for practice and development of the elements that make the parades a success. They are a great team and have enormous drive. Local energy provider Country Energy has been a great supporter of the Fashion Parades and is with us again this year. I can’t wait to see the parades at this years event.”  Country Energy are supporting the event again this year and they enjoy the great outcomes it creates in our community.

Fashion Pavilion
This will be our third year with the format of having fashion exhibitors in the pavilion with the parades. It give a great interactive shopping experience for visitors, you can see the clothes and accessories parading down the catwalk and then walk up and talk to the retailers all under the same roof. 

Pages Event Hire have been long term supporters of the fashion parades providing a marque with flooring and carpet and equipment for the models to prepare themselves for the parades. They are very professional in their preparations and its great working with them knowing everything will be right for the event.
